A Bit About Me
Personal Life
Hi there! I’m a 12-year educator specializing in English Language Arts, with a deep love for teaching high school students—my favorite age group to work with. My husband is a dedicated coach and teacher, and we’re lucky enough to work just down the hall from each other. Together, we’re raising four rambunctious (yet lovable!) kids who keep us on our toes. Most of our free time is spent at ball fields, basketball courts, and volleyball games, or enjoying the outdoors. We love camping at the creek, kayaking, fishing, and exploring with our dog, Junebug. Life is busy, but we love every minute of it here on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Professional Journey
I’ve spent the past 12 years teaching English Language Arts, and I’ve always had a passion for integrating technology into my classroom. High school students are my favorite age group to teach, and I strive to create engaging, tech-enhanced lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking. In 2023, I began pursuing a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology at Mississippi State University (Hail State!) to deepen my skills and explore new ways to support learners. Along the way, I discovered a love for curriculum development and web design. Now, I’m excited to transition out of the classroom and into a role where I can design impactful, innovative learning experiences that blend creativity, strategy, and technology.
